Food

You feed your dog twice daily (or most people do) so make them work for it, puzzle games and snuffle mats that you can buy are great but you can make your own too.

Put food in containers such as cardboard boxes or plastic milk bottles and let them get it out. (UNDER SUPERVISION!) plastic slides really well along tiled or wood floors and will spill out the food to find.

Wrap a treat or food in a rag such as an old tea towel and knot the ends before giving it to your dog to snuffle and pull to get to the prize within.

Hide food around the house, under rugs, cushions behind chairs etc this will get his nose working, give him exercise and fun all rolled into one-If you have a garden, hide the treats outside, make it obvious at first until your dog understands what is required, increasing difficulty as he progresses.
